A few days from now we’ll start hearing Christmas songs and mall sales will be a weekly thing as we welcome the start of the “Ber” months!

Now here’s an early Christmas treat from Tokyo Tokyo, a popular Japanese restaurant in the country today.

“As a treat to our loyal customers and to reinforce Tokyo Tokyo’s ownership of the brand’s most-loved drink, we are launching the Super Sumo Red Iced Tea. This 32 oz. drink is available in all our branches nationwide for only P69 and is definitely perfect to quench Pinoys’ thirst for a refreshing yet affordable drink,” said Tokyo Tokyo Product Manager Harvie Sering.

An even better news is that Tokyo Tokyo has declared September 1 as Red Iced Tea Day. On this Red-letter day, customers can score the Super Sumo Red Iced Tea for only P20! Save as much as P49!

Fans of Tokyo Tokyo will agree that apart from its appetizing food choices, the restaurant is also known for its Red Iced Tea. It has become the brand’s signature drink that no Tokyo Tokyo meal is complete without it. Now over 30 years since this drink charmed Filipino taste buds, Tokyo Tokyo has gone generous by upsizing it to a sumo size, which is 32 oz. or almost one liter, but at an affordable price.

When Japanese restaurant chain Tokyo Tokyo opened its first branch in 1985, it built an incredibly dedicated following with its combination of quality, value, and abundance. During that time, it was the only quick-service Japanese restaurant that offered unlimited rice with its dishes, which later on became Filipinos’ most popular cravings. Driven by its desire to continuously satisfy and excite Filipino palate, it expanded its menu by adding snack bento meals, authentic Japanese ramen flavors through its Ramen Bar, and sweet treats through its Dessert Bar.
