In the most recent report of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) released last week, it shows that the Philippines’ unemployment rate improved at 4.2 percent in its Labor Force Survey conducted in November 2022, from 4.5 percent in October 2022 and 6.5 percent in November 2021.

This is a good indication as the country is gearing towards rejuvinating the situation in the business landscape that was greatly disrupted by the global pandemic. Thus, the support of the private sector is essential to support the government in implementing programs relating to providing employment opportunities to the people.

There are more than 800 job positions such as branch heads, service officers, account officers and marketing assistants were opened by the bank to support the 106 branches and loan offices that opened last year.

In connection to the branch expansion of BDONB, the community bank of BDO recently conducted a job fair in San Fernando, Pampanga in partnership with the LGUs Public Employment Service Office (PESO) recently conducted a job fair in San Fernando, Pampanga. The event was attended by the officers of the BDO Network Bank led by its President Jose Antonio Itchon.
