One of the best things about the latest technology and innovations that comes out almost every day is the convenience that they bring in our lives.

That is, if you are maximizing all the benefits they give.

Take for instance GCash, a mobile payment innovation in the Philippines that has revolutionized the way people make financial transactions. Many people have been downloading and using the app especially when a lot of major establishments have set-up GCash payment options for customers. Now, you just have to bring your mobile phone to the mall and you can do grocery, order coffee or milk tea, watch a movie, and book a ride home without the hassles of withdrawing money from the ATM. Now that’s convenience.

However, may GCash users have not yet fully verified their accounts and are missing out great features like Bank Transfer, Send Money, GCredit, Invest Money, and a lot more.

The funny thing is, it only takes a few minutes to do it.

I got my account verified by just clicking a link in the GCash App. Good thing I always have my SSS ID with me and with just a selfie and a request from the app to blink my eyes, I had my account fully verified in a little over five minutes.

By the way, you can also use these government issued ID to get verified: Passport, Driver’s License, PRC card, NBI clearance, Police clearance, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, GDSI e-Card, Senior Citizen ID, OWWA/ OFW ID, HDMF ID, school ID and other identification cards listed in the app.

Easy, right?

The GCash feature that I find very useful is the bank transfer capability because I have some monthly payment arrangements with colleagues and family members. Now, I don’t need to go to the bank personally and fall in line to deposit money. All it takes is a few clicks of the buttons. By the way, there are more than thirty banks listed in the GCash app where you can use the feature.

So again, why limit yourself to just being able to pay for your shopping cart or settle your utility bills with an unverified GCash account when you can almost get more and greater convenience within your hands.
