PMA Unveils “ONE MAP”: Redefining the Future of Philippine Marketing

1

The Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) has officially launched its 55th Annual Marketing Conference, themed ONE MAP (Omni Network Ecosystem Marketing Agility Protocol)1. Set to take place on September 23, 2026, at Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts, the event is described as the association’s most operationally ambitious conference to date, aimed at “Charting the Future of Marketing”.

A Movement Beyond Learning According to 2026 PMA President and CEO Mitch Ballesteros, ONE MAP is not merely a conference but a movement. It is designed to shift professionals from simply acquiring information to transforming insights into action and measurable impact. The framework is broken down into two essential components:

  • O.N.E. (Omni Network Ecosystem): This pillar integrates every channel and touchpoint into a single system, supported by a network of partners and communities to create a compounding customer-engagement environment.
  • M.A.P. (Marketing Agility Protocol): This focuses on the organizational capacity to pivot under volatile conditions using a standardized playbook that ensures repeatable growth regardless of industry disruptions.

Innovative Structure and Global Reach For the first time, the conference is led by a dual-director structure, featuring Board members Cha Pestano-Diaz and Adolf Aran Jr. To accommodate a wider audience, a hybrid on-demand track will run from September 24 through November 2026, extending the program to participants across the region.

The conference experience is built around six key pillars, including business networking, featured company visits, and a “Protocol in Action” crisis simulation where participants walk through the ONE MAP steps in real time.

The Marketing Gambit Cup A defining feature of the ONE MAP journey is the Marketing Gambit Cup6. This capstone program challenges delegates to develop “Marketing Agility and Business Resiliency Plans” based on actual business case studies.

Rather than just taking notes, participants become active contributors by creating actionable solutions. The top three winners will receive scholarship grants toward professional certification through the Marketing Institute of the Philippines.

As it celebrates its 55th year, the PMA aims for ONE MAP to be its most defining statement yet, empowering marketers to not only navigate the changing business landscape but to lead it.
