GoodAh!!!: A Taste of Pinoy Comfort Food That Brings Families Together

1

For generations of Filipinos, GoodAh!!! has been more than just a restaurant—it has been a familiar destination for delicious Pinoy comfort food, family gatherings, late-night cravings, and memorable dining experiences.

With more than 30 years in the Philippine food industry, GoodAh!!! continues to be one of the country’s most recognizable all-Filipino dining chains, known for introducing iconic dishes such as Tapsilog and helping popularize the famous “silog” culture enjoyed by Filipinos today.

Recently, TheNewsMakers family visited the GoodAh!!! Granada branch in Quezon City, and the experience reminded us why the brand has remained a favorite among Filipino diners through the years.

From the moment we arrived, the restaurant offered a welcoming atmosphere that felt both casual and family-friendly. The spacious dining area provided a comfortable setting for sharing meals and enjoying conversations. The staff were attentive, accommodating, and quick to assist, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable.

Of course, the highlight of our visit was the food.

We started with the Beef Nilaga, a hearty Filipino classic that arrived steaming hot and packed with tender beef, vegetables, and a flavorful broth. The rich yet comforting taste made it perfect for family-style dining, especially on a day when everyone was looking for something warm and satisfying.

The Liempo was another crowd favorite. Grilled to perfection, it offered the ideal balance of smoky flavor, juicy meat, and crispy edges that paired perfectly with rice. Every bite delivered the familiar taste that Filipinos love.

No Filipino family meal would be complete without Lumpiang Shanghai, and GoodAh!!! certainly delivered. The crispy golden rolls were packed with savory filling and served fresh from the kitchen, making them one of the first dishes to disappear from our table.

We also enjoyed the Pancit Canton, a timeless Filipino favorite often associated with celebrations and family gatherings. The noodles were flavorful, well-seasoned, and generously mixed with vegetables and toppings, making it a perfect complement to the other dishes we ordered.

What makes GoodAh!!! stand out is its ability to preserve the authentic flavors of Filipino cuisine while continuously improving the dining experience for today’s customers. Whether you’re craving traditional favorites such as Nilaga, Sinigang, Pares, Goto, Tapsilog, or other Filipino specialties, GoodAh!!! offers a menu that caters to every generation. The brand remains committed to its long-standing promise of serving “Pinoy Comfort Food for Every-All.”

Beyond the Granada branch, customers can also enjoy the same delicious Filipino dining experience at the Timog branch in Quezon City and the Sucat branch in Parañaque, making GoodAh!!! accessible to more families across Metro Manila.

For anyone looking for authentic Filipino comfort food, generous servings, and a restaurant experience that feels familiar and welcoming, GoodAh!!! continues to be a worthy destination. Its decades-long presence in the local dining scene is a testament to the quality, consistency, and flavor that generations of Filipinos have come to love.

Whether it’s a simple family lunch, a late-night food trip, or a gathering with friends, GoodAh!!! remains one of the country’s enduring icons of Filipino dining—serving delicious meals and creating memorable experiences one plate at a time.
