This year, FastCat added two brand new vessels to serve more routes to Filipinos. Last June 18, bloggers and media guests were invited to the event “Batangas: Your Nearest Perfect Destination” which was organized by Fastcat and Jam Liner in partnership with Philtranco.
One of the highlights of the exciting event was the presentation of the newly launched vessel in Batangas added to the existing Fastcat vessels. Attendees were given the privilege not only experience some of the tourist attractions of Batangas but also the great experience to be toured the new vessel.
The tour included a chance to get to know the key places of the Fastcat roro (stationed at Batangas city port) as well as the key people behind it. Guests visited different places in Batangas like Liam’s Lomi House (Lipa), Casa Segunda (Lipa), Casa Rap (Lipa), Katy’s Farm (Lipa), and Padre Pio Church (Santo Tomas).
One of the favorite stops during the event was the Case Segunda where guests learned a lot about the not-so-talked about relationship of Jose Rizal with Segunda Matias and the fact that she eventually ended up marrying the grandfather of visual artist Arturo Luz.
With FastCat’s new routes and its alliance with JAM liner and Philtranco bus lines, travelling in the Philippines has become more convenient like never before. With their aim of serving more customers, FastCat having a fleet of modern ships, together with plans to expand to up to 30 ships by 2020.
Batangas is known to be the nearest perfect destination that passengers can tour around before they travel with FastCat. JAM liner has been serving passengers for 50 years with over 300 buses.
