From the Dance Floor to the cover of FHM

From being the “Badgirl of the Dance Floor” to being the latest cover girl of the nation’s leading men’s magazine, the future looks even brighter to a former TV reality show contestant.

Ryza Cenon became the third StarStruck Ultimate Avenger to have her own FHM Philippines cover this month of May, following the footsteps of Jennylyn Mercado and Jackie Rice. Her Season 2 batchmate, fellow Kapuso actress LJ Reyes, recently rocked her second cover back last February.

Now what made her finally decide to join the bandwagon to join the league of fellow GMA 7 stars?

“Kahit before pa naman, I have had sexy roles already. The issue was when I would decide to finally pose for a men’s magazine,” says Ryza. “I wanted to be ready if ever I was going to pursue it. Now I feel like I’m a late bloomer, that my body is just now reaching its womanly potential. My body is only now developing.”

Last May 17, Ryza held an autograph signing for the said magazine in a well-attended event at Robinsons Galleria Movieworld. Hundreds of fans crowded the venue taking a chance to have a glimpse or better have a moment for a photo opp with the star is set to be more brighter than ever after the FHM cover gig.

“Watch out for me,” she smiled back to the reporters and bloggers who attended her press conference prior to the event. “Hopefully, this would open doors of more opportunity for me in the future.”
